Lever’s recruiting software powers 22,000 customers with 4 million active jobs and 600 million candidates. They needed advanced analytics capabilities to deliver data products to enterprise clients like Spotify, Lucid Motors, Eventbrite, and Ancestry—without bottlenecking on engineering resources.
What We Built
We delivered a complete analytics stack: 282 custom SQL queries (tuned, tested, and production-ready), 186 Tableau workbooks, and 11 Python applications. The engagement spanned multiple product versions, including the high-priority Lever Talent Intelligence v5 release.
Engineering Highlights
SQL query development at scale. We wrote, optimized, and productionized queries that power Lever’s client-facing dashboards. Each client receives a minimum of 5 dashboards with 6+ SQL sources per workbook—all maintained and supported post-deployment.
Reusable dashboard templates. We eliminated hours of manual SQL work per new client by building configurable Tableau templates. This automation cut onboarding time dramatically.
Python automation. We shipped 11 Python applications that handle data transformation, validation, and pipeline orchestration behind the scenes.
Architecture prototyping. We used KNIME to prototype data architectures that were later hardened into Lever’s production SQL environment—de-risking major schema changes before they hit production.
