Lever.co, a leader in recruiting software, sought full-time Tableau consulting services & data engineering consulting services, on multiple engagements, to advance their HR-focused data analytics capabilities and streamline client onboarding processes.
To meet these goals, they partnered with Tyler to develop, model, and productionize 282 custom SQL queries (tuned, tested, supported and implemented), 186 tableau workbooks created, and 11 python applications. Minimum 5 dashboards per client, 1-3 products (workbooks) per client and minimum 6 SQL sources per workbook. After three months full-time with Lever, decision makers asked DEV3LOP to create Lever Talent Intelligence version 5!
Working alongside Lever.co’s design, product, and consulting teams, Tyler played a pivotal role in enhancing and re-architecting SQL workflows for Tableau dashboards. His efforts resulted in scalable, custom data products tailored specifically for HR teams, supported the LTI v3, v4, and v5 high priority escalations, and delivered to over 30 high-profile clients, including Spotify, Lucid Motors, Talend, Eventbrite, Ancestry, Coupa, and CrossCountry.
One of Tyler’s contributions was eliminating hours of SQL per new client. By creating reusable Tableau dashboard templates and automating core processes, Tyler enabled Lever.co to transition away from manually crafting new data products for each customer. This innovation significantly reduced onboarding time and operational overhead, allowing the company to scale its offerings more efficiently.
As a solution architect, Tyler provided Tier 1 support for advanced SQL and Tableau requests, mentoring Lever.co’s analytics consultants and training them in best practices for Tableau and SQL. He also leveraged KNIME to prototype data architectures that were later hardened into Lever.co’s production SQL environment.
By the end of the engagement, Tyler had established a robust foundation for scalable analytics and empowered Lever.co’s team to iterate on and deploy new Tableau dashboards independently, solidifying their ability to deliver cutting-edge recruiting insights to their diverse client base.
